Zach NeSmith / Neesmith Onzeur

Zach Nesmith is a photographer, filmmaker, and photojournalist living in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina in 2014 with a BFA in commercial photography. He has extensively documented fashion brands, art scenes, protests, punk and hip-hop scenes as well as drag culture. He currently works for Creative Drive studio in Brooklyn and is a freelance event and editorial photographer, most notably for Superchief Gallery NY. In 2019 he shot the album cover for rapper Mr. Muthafuckin Exquire’s self-titled album released July that same year. His work has appeared in Vice, NPR, Juxtapoz Magazine, Office Magazine, Tumblr spots, Creative Loafing, Jacobin, and many others. Footage he shot of the riots in Charlotte following the shooting of Keith Scott in September 2016 can be seen in Astra Taylor's documentary, “What Is Democracy?”.
